Description

  • CHO-K1/NFAT-bla/GPR54 is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human KiSS1 receptor (GPR54). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. Using a low-dose treatment of Mitomycin-C, these cells are irreversibly division arrested, but without apparent toxicity or change in cellular signal transduction. These cells have been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. The GPR54 receptor is involved in the development and functional regulation of the gonads, and in tumor progression and metastasis.
