Description

  • HEK293T/CRE-bla/H2 is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Histamine Receptor 2 (H2). Under the control of the Cyclic AMP Response Element (CRE) response element, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. Using a low-dose treatment of Mitomycin-C, these cells are irreversibly division arrested, but without apparent toxicity or change in cellular signal transduction. These cells have been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. The H2 receptor is involved in various disorders, such as dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), stress ulcer prophylaxis and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
