Gene Expression Profiling of GPCRs
Creative Biolabs provides professional and comprehensive gene expression profiling services for GPCR research and drug development.
Introduction of Gene Expression Profiling
Gene expression profiling refers to the measurement of gene expression in cells at any given moment. It provides a high-throughput approach and accurate information for gene expression. Thousands of genes even the entire genome can be measured at the same time. Commonly used techniques to determine gene expression include microarrays and sequencing. The former mainly measures the activity of specific genes of interest, while the latter allows to determine all active genes within cells. Gene expression profiling can improve our understanding of the pathology, diagnosis, clinical outcomes and therapeutic response of various diseases.
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are an evolutionary diverse receptor group, comprise the most extensive class of therapeutic targets. The analysis of GPCR expression in cells and tissues is helpful to clarify the role of GPCRs in cell physiology and pathophysiology, and is of great significance to drug discovery. Gene expression profiling is also an essential step to reveal the function of orphan GPCRs in diseases and is paramount to recognize the potential therapeutic value for any given orphan GPCRs.

Gene Expression Profiling Services
Our scientific team has extensive successful experience in providing comprehensive techniques and solutions for gene expression profiling.
Microarray-Based Gene Expression Profiling
Microarray enables to analyze the expression pattern of thousands of specific genes in particular cells at a given time at the genome level. It is useful in discovering appropriate targets for therapeutic applications.
Differential Gene Expression Profiling
Differential gene expression profiling is to discover quantitative changes in gene expression level between different experimental groups by using several statistical analysis methods, such as edgeR ad DESeq.
Digital Gene Expression Profiling
Digital gene expression profiling is an innovative strategy with the advantages of high coverage, high sensitivity and low background noise. It has the ability to measure low-abundance genes and find unknown transcripts.
Quantitative Gene Expression Profiling
Quantitative PCR (qPCR) and quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) are commonly used to detect and quantify gene expression. References genes are required to normalize the data of target gene expression.
Single-Cell Gene Expression Profiling
Single-cell gene expression profiling allows to visualize gene expression inside single cells with high spatial-temporal resolution. Gene expression differences in individual cells from the same tissue can be accurately described.
Gene Expression Profiling with Tag-Seq
Tag-Seq is a new method to generate exceptionally low-noise gene expression profiling data. It performs better in gene discovery and is sensitive to rare transcripts.
Creative Biolabs provides customized gene expression profiling services to fully meet your requirements. Our experienced scientists can provide you one-stop solutions to speed up your process of GPCR research and drug development.
