Description

  • CHO-K1/CRE-bla/ADORA2A Division Arrested Cells are stable recombinant cells expressing the human Adenosine Receptor A2A (ADORA2A). Under the control of the Cyclic AMP Response Element (CRE) response element, these cells can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. Using a low-dose treatment of Mitomycin-C, these cells are irreversibly division arrested, but without apparent toxicity or change in cellular signal transduction. These cells have been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. ADORA2A has been shown to he involved in many biological functions, such as the regulation of blood pressure, pain and inflammation , inhibition of platelet aggregation, and contributes to ischemic brain damage.
