Description

  • CHO-K1/Gα15-NFAT-bla/FPRL-1 is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Formyl Peptide Like Receptor 1 (FPRL-1). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element and the Promiscuous G protein, Gα15, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. Using a low-dose treatment of Mitomycin-C, these cells are irreversibly division arrested, but without apparent toxicity or change in cellular signal transduction. These cells have been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. The FPRL-1 receptor has been implicated in a variety of inflammation and neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease.
