Description
- CHO-K1/NFAT-bla/AVPR1A is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Arginine Vasopressin Receptor 1A (AVPR1A). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. Using a low-dose treatment of Mitomycin-C, these cells are irreversibly division arrested, but without apparent toxicity or change in cellular signal transduction. These cells have been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. AVPR1A is a member of the family of receptors that recognize vasopressin and oxytocin.
