Description
- HEK293T/NFAT-bla/CCKBR is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Cholecystokinin Receptor B (CCKBR). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. Using a low-dose treatment of Mitomycin-C, these cells are irreversibly division arrested, but without apparent toxicity or change in cellular signal transduction. These cells have been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. CCKBR, which is widely distributed throughout the CNS and digestive system, is involved in anxiety, learning and memory, and growth of gastric mucosa.
