• CHO-K1/Gα15-NFAT-bla/5HT1A is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human 5-HT Receptor 1A (HTR1A). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element and the Promiscuous G protein, Gα15, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. This cell line has been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. Agonists and antagonists of the 5HT receptors have been reported to be associated with the treatment of neurological disorders, such as anxiety, insomnia, and depression.
