Detailed Information
- CHO-K1/NFAT-bla/HCRTR2 is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Orexin Receptor B (HCRTR2). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element and the Promiscuous G protein, Gα15, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. This cell line has been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. The HCRTR2 receptor is expressed in brain, adrenal gland, pancreas and gastrointestinal tract. It is implicated in narcolepsy.
