Detailed Information

  • CHO-K1/CRE-bla/VPAC1 is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Vasoactive intestinal peptide/pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide receptor 1 (VPAC1). Under the control of the Cyclic AMP Response Element (CRE) response element, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. This cell line has been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. VPAC1 has been implicated in multiple disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease, Crohn's disease, autoimmune diabetes, and HIV infection.
