• HEK293/NFAT-bla/H1 is a stable recombinant human cell line expressing the human Histamine Receptor 1 (H1). Under the control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element, this cell line can stably express the beta-lactamase (bla) reporter gene. This cell line has been functionally validated and tested under variable conditions. The H1 receptor, located in human bronchi, bronchioles, and bronchial muscle, smooth muscle of the ileum, and the uterus, plays an important role in a number of disorders, suc as mood disorders and allergic reactions.
