Description
- CCF2-FA (Free Acid), a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) substrate, consists of a cephalosporin core linking B7-hydroxycoumarin to fluorescein. CCF2-AM is the membrane-permeant ester form of CCF2. CCF2-FA is essentially the CCF2 substrate without the esters found in the AM version. It is de-esterified and can be used as a beta-lactamase substrate in cell lysate applications or as a control to acquire the excitation and emission spectra for CCF2-AM.
