ADME/DMPK Test of GPCRs
Creative Biolabs provides a full range of services for ADME/DMPK assays and analysis to accelerate GPCR drug development. We offer expertise and advanced technology to help our customers cope with increasing and unexpected challenges of time, quality and cost.
Introduction of ADME/DMPK
Drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) is the process to evaluate half-life, bioavailability, clearance, metabolic profile, and other properties of new drugs. It is an essential part of preclinical drug development to deal with safety and efficacy evaluation of drug candidates. Undesirable DMPK profile is the key reason for unwanted side effects and drug withdrawal.
DMPK studies combined with the analysis of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME) can provide the basis for screening compounds with desirable properties that are likely to proceed for subsequent drug development. Drug-drug interaction (DDI) can also be evaluated to reduce the risks and attrition due to the lack of efficacy and poor safety profiles.
